Skylar Masson

Software Engineer and Game Developer

About me

Hello, I'm Skylar Masson. I am a Software Engineer and Game Developer who loves writing code to create various amounts of Games, Mobile Apps, Windows Apps, and many different Software Applications.

Over the course of the last 7+ years, I've spent my time in school learning how to develop applications of all kinds. In 2018, I started out learning game development where I primarily used the Unity3D engine and C#. This school was a 1-year intensive learning environment where we worked 25-30hrs per week on learning and developing games. I ended up developing 7 pc games (2 of which were on teams) and 3 mobile games.
After this, I went on to get my Associates of Science in Computer Information Techology and then my Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Application Development. Throughout my time in school, I learned secure programming principles, data structures, different design concepts, programming paradigms, and object-oriented programming with multiple languages on different platforms.
In 2023, once I completed my Bachelors degree I landed my first full-time role as a Fullstack Software Developer where I primarily used C#/.NET/Blazor. I also saw this as a perfect time to incrementally work on my Masters of Computer Science degree taking a few classes after work hours to become a master in developing solutions on any platform that I desire or is asked of me!

I strive to be a great programmer and want to learn as much as possible!
